Hello, I'm Doctor Maryam

I am a Parent Educator, Life Transition Consultant, physician, speaker, and mother.

Drawing on more than two decades of experience supporting children and families, along with my own journey through divorce, single parenthood, and building a new chapter in my life, I combine professional experience with lived experience to help individuals and families navigate life's most meaningful transitions with clarity, confidence, and purpose.

I believe that change—whether in parenting, relationships, family dynamics, career, or personal identity—can become a catalyst for growth when met with the right support. My approach is grounded in both empathy and practicality. With a calm presence and a commitment to listening deeply, I strive to create a safe, supportive space where individuals and families feel seen, heard, and understood.

Through education, personalized strategies, and genuine partnership, I help parents and individuals navigate challenges and change with greater confidence. My mission is to help individuals and families see change not as an ending, but as the beginning of new possibilities. By combining compassionate guidance with practical strategies, my goal is to empower you or your child to embrace change with confidence, discover strengths they may not yet recognize, and move forward with clarity, purpose, and resilience.

My Why …

At the heart of everything I do are my two boys—my greatest teachers and my deepest inspiration. Becoming their mother showed me not only the beauty and responsibility of raising children, but also the profound ways life can shift and reshape us. Through every season—divorce, single parenthood, career changes—they have been my anchor and my motivation to keep growing, learning, and finding strength in the midst of transition.

They are the reason I do this work. My own journey of navigating change while raising them has shown me that transitions, though often painful and uncertain, can also be opportunities for self-discovery and renewal. The lessons I’ve learned through them inspire me to help others who are standing at their own crossroads—whether that’s redefining identity, moving through loss, or beginning a new chapter.

Every session, every workshop, every conversation I have is rooted in the hope that others can find the same sense of resilience, clarity, and purpose that I’ve sought to model for my sons. They are my “why,” and this work is my way of helping others discover theirs.
